In Berlin, there are hundreds of hotels to choose from in all price ranges. Generally, service is good, rooms are comfortable and public areas and restaurants deliver value. You can select by neighborhood, by proximity to a U Bahn stop,  the degree of luxury, or by the price.  Most couples seek centrally located hotels where major sites and activities are nearby.

  • HOTEL DE ROME.
This elegant 146 room hotel has high ceilings, marble bathrooms and comfortable sleeping areas. Especially pleasant in the Spring and Summer because of its rooftop restaurant that features alfresco dining. To relax after a day of sightseeing, you can take a swim in the pool or enjoy a treatment in the spa. Unter den Linden, one of Berlin’s most beautiful streets, is just a few steps away.

  • HOTEL SAVOY.
This hotel offers especially good value in a perfect location. One block away from the Kurfurstendamm and a few minutes’ walk from the popular bars and restaurants of Savigny Platz, this comfortable oasis can’t be beaten. 125 spacious rooms, a sunny dining room, a friendly bar that sometimes features soft jazz in the afternoons, and a cigar room are all part of the establishment. Reserve well in advance and ask for a bed with a canopy and/or a room that faces the quiet garden. Also ask about a room with a separate sitting room. The friendly staff will be happy to help you plan every honeymoon day.

  • ELLINGTON HOTEL.
This hotel located a few minutes’ walk from KaDaWe department store and the Kurfurstendam is not only well located, but it is also affordable.  It is named after the great jazz musician Duke Ellington because he and other musicians used to stay here and play at the jazz club next door. Today, it is still one of the city’s jazz venues.

The 248 room hotel is housed in an 18th century historic building but the interior décor is black-and-white modern and minimalist (to match the piano keys!) and all the comforts of home are included  at a reasonable price along with breakfast and internet.

  • HOTEL ADLON KEMPINSKI.
The legendary Adlon offers a stately, Old World décor with plenty of romance, but inside amenities are strictly state-of-the art. In fact, couples could almost spend all of their honeymoon under one roof here. A spa, a health club, a pool and a hairdresser are just part of the perks. The lobby bar is a gathering place for visitors as well as locals. Two of their restaurants–Quarre and Lorenz Adlon Esszimmer have Michelin stars and a third, the Felix Club/Restaurant, is also one of Berlin’s hottest night spots.

Spacious rooms provide the utmost in comfort and tranquility. Skilled concierges happily give couples an insider’s view of the best things to see and do around town. Considered to be one of Berlin’s finest hotels, the Adlon has been welcoming celebrities, statesmen, and just plain folks for decades.  You’ll love it too!
